Service relationship
Site Harbour provides website design, managed hosting, maintenance, plan-based updates, SEO support, and related services through managed website plans and separately quoted project work.
Managed plans and deposits
Launch has a 12-month initial term. Grow and Pro have 24-month initial terms. The deposit shown for the selected plan starts the project and is non-refundable once work begins. The selected plan, deposit, monthly rate, included services, and any approved additional work are confirmed before development starts.
Plan term and cancellation
After the initial term has been completed, the plan continues month to month at the same monthly rate unless the plan is changed or cancelled under the client agreement. Thirty days' notice is required to cancel after the initial term. If a plan is cancelled before the minimum term has been completed, the remaining balance of that initial term is due.
Scope of work
Each managed plan includes defined limits for website pages, forms, business email accounts, content support, updates, and other services. Additional pages, landing pages, graphic design, advanced forms or workflows, ecommerce, CRM or admin systems, custom backends, integrations, rush work, and other work outside the selected plan are quoted separately before that additional work begins.
Updates and support
Included website updates depend on the selected plan. Launch includes basic post-launch changes to phone number, email address, and business address. Grow includes up to 1 hour of basic website updates per year. Pro includes up to 2 hours of basic website updates per year. Content additions, SEO support, Google Business Profile posts, and other ongoing services are included only where they are specifically listed in the selected plan. Additional work can be quoted separately when needed.
Ownership
Your domain and client-provided content remain yours. Once the minimum plan term has been completed and all amounts owing under that term have been paid, you own the completed transferable website content and design and may move the website to another provider if you choose. Site Harbour retains ownership of reusable frameworks, libraries, modules, internal tools, proprietary platform code, and other systems developed for use across multiple projects.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate business information, required content and images, approvals, passwords or account access when needed, and timely feedback so the project can move forward. Clients are also responsible for confirming that materials they provide can legally be used on their website.
SEO and business results
SEO, local search, content, performance, and website improvements are intended to strengthen the website's search readiness, usability, and visibility. Search rankings, traffic, leads, sales, and other business results depend on factors outside Site Harbour's control and are not guaranteed.
